The VolkswagenStiftung and the Ministry of Education and Culture of Lower Saxony support a new research project at the Universities of Osnabrück, Oldenburg and Lüneburg. How can different actors, such as companies, consumers, citizens, associations and legislators, be actively involved in the development of a sustainable consumption of information and communication technologies? This is only one of the questions that will be addressed by the new research project involving the corporate network ERTEMIS.

During 43 months 31 employees from 4 research groups as well as 6 partners were committed to the Project “Next Generation Corporate Environmental Management Information System (CEMIS) for Environmental, Energy and Resource Management”.

The International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI) is the flagship conference of the German-speaking Information Systems community. With it's rigorous reviewing policies and acceptance rates of around 25%, the WI conference has established itself in line with high-profile conferences such as ECIS or ICIS. The conference equally addresses scientists, practitioners and students, who are interested in current developments in the field of information technology as well as the business models related thereto.

Prof. Teuteberg has accepted an invitation to serve as a member of the International assessment committee “Sustainable Logistics” for the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), The Hague.
The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) is the national research council in the Netherlands and has a budget of 625 million euros per year. NWO promotes quality and innovation in science.
